Brenda R. Foster

BRENDA R. FOSTER has been a member of the California State Bar since 2008. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of California at San Diego in 2001 and her law degree from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in 2007. Brenda began her career in sports in 2000 as an intern for the San Diego Padres. From there, she moved on to Scouting & Player Development, assisting the club in its Minor League operations efforts as well as the administration of the Rule IV and Rule V drafts. In law school, Brenda worked for the Padres General Counsel drafting sponsorship agreements, defending salary arbitration cases and advising the club on a multitude of legal issues surrounding its move into PETCO Park. Since law school, Brenda has worked on a variety of sports cases. In the workers’ compensation realm she has represented both professional athletes and now, with WMBGD, the teams within the NFL and MLB among other leagues. She joined WMBGD in September of 2011.
