JAMES W. JUROE graduated from Belmont College in Nashville, Tennessee in 1979 with a Bachelor of Science degree in History and Education, minoring in Political Science.  He taught in a Nashville area high school for one year and then attended Memphis State University School of Law, and received his Juris Doctor degree in 1983.  He was admitted to the California Bar in June 1984.  He joined Wall, McCormick, Baroldi, Green & Dugan, A Professional Law Corporation in February 2003.  He is a member of the California Bar Association and the Orange County Bar Association.  He is a past member of the Long Beach Bar Association and served as an officer of that organization.
